If You've Never Touched Fire, You Have No Measure of Being Burnt

You're not dead. You know you can neither resolve nor aggravate the problem. So, you keep trucking on.


Recently, I temporarily injured myself on set, losing feeling in half my working hand. I carried on as if it hadn't happened:  only time could tell with certainty.  I realize now there was another choice, but that choice never occurred to me. -> If there is knowingly no potential danger, what do we have to gain by sitting out, standing down?
